Coolum’s Christmas in the Park

Each year Coolum’s Christmas in the Park gets bigger and brighter, attracting thousands of locals and visitors. This year’s event was no exception.  Many thousands of people enjoyed the free face painting and animal farm. The entertainment ranged from carols, a live band, guest singers, dancing, Santa and of course our amazing fireworks display!

This year’s Christmas message was delivered by Coolum High School Chaplain, Mark Horsfall. Santa made an appearance in a Fire Truck with sirens blasting!  More giveaways for the children included lolly pops and free tea and coffee served for everyone. To top off the region’s biggest carols night, a spectacular fireworks display lit up the night sky.

We want to thank all the sponsors and volunteers who contributed to this event to make Christmas in the Park such a successful family event.
